Cleaning radiators

Cleaning radiators and heating grilles is essential, especially because dust buildup can cause less efficient heat distribution and unhealthy air circulation. Here are some practical steps:

  1. Turn off the heating and let it cool down – This prevents the burning of dust and ensures safe work.

  2. Vacuum the outside and crevices – Use a narrow brush attachment to remove dust and dirt from the gaps. Remove as much as possible from the front and sides.

  3. Use a radiator brush – For thorough cleaning, you can use a long, flexible radiator brush to remove dust and dirt between and behind the radiator. This is especially useful for panel radiators.

  4. Wipe with a damp cloth – Wipe down the outside of the radiator with a slightly damp cloth to remove remaining dirt.

  5. Use an air compressor or hairdryer for hard-to-reach spots – For stubborn dust, you can use a hairdryer or air compressor to blow dust out of the gaps. Place a cloth behind it to catch the dust.

By following these steps, your radiators and grilles will stay clean and distribute heat more efficiently!
